With over 40 years of experience in facilities management and operations, Irma Hernandez has built a strong reputation for leadership, reliability, and operational excellence across major venues and organizations throughout Texas. During her distinguished career with a global enterprise specializing in facilities management, hospitality, and support services, she successfully managed corporate facilities, medical office buildings, sports and entertainment venues, and large-scale operations across the Houston and San Antonio markets.
Over the course of nearly 20 years supporting premier sports and entertainment venues, Irma led facility operations at Minute Maid Park (now Daikin Park) and NRG Park. At Minute Maid Park, she directed facility services for major events, including the MLB All-Star Game and the first Houston Astros World Series game. At NRG Park, she oversaw operations at NRG Stadium, NRG Center, and NRG Arena, managing high-profile events such as NFL Playoff Games, the NCAA Final Four, Super Bowl LI, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Throughout her tenure, she consistently ensured seamless event execution, operational efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Irma’s responsibilities expanded to overseeing a diverse portfolio that included sports and entertainment venues, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and public-sector operations throughout Texas. Her portfolio included support for Daikin Park, Frost Bank Center (formerly AT&T Center), and Constellation Field. In this leadership role, she was responsible for operational performance, client relations, financial management, workforce development, and service excellence across a broad range of accounts.
